Enter Client into CaseDriver
- Confirm client is not already entered and just not assigned to you
Prepare the Folders and Documents
- Got to your File Explorer on your computer and open the attorney's Clients folder
- If no folder exists, create client folder in Attorney's Clients folder
- Naming Convention: Rubble, Barney OR Flintstone, Fred & Wilma
- Copy Client Folder Template into the new folder
- Look for any documents that may have been sent or uploaded by the firm
- Move any documents into respective folders using the Documents guidelines
- Follow instructions on Case Tab - Client Documents to create Dropbox link for "View All Client Documents" button
- Follow instructions on Case Tab - Client Documents to create Unique Client Portal link
Enter Client into RingCentral Contacts
- Synchronize your contacts to be sure the client isn't already entered
- Select Contacts in left menu
- Select Add Client icon to the right of the filter window. Be sure not to select "Add" in the quick contacts section
- Enter the First Name then Last Name. Enter the attorneys initials in parenthesis after the last name. Example: Fred Flintstone (MS)
- Enter the phone number only
- If the option is available, be sure to select Google (default) as the Source
Before Meeting Preparation
- If possible 1-5 Days Before the CIM send email template "CIM Pending - Intro & Links" - be sure the unique portal link is populated in the email
- Send text alerting client to the email
- Few minutes before meeting send text template "Intro Before CIM Call"
- Check for any last minute documents received just prior to the meeting. Look in the client's portal, the attorney's Drop New Docs Here folder and the inbox for documents@casedriver.com
